These include Acute Respiratory Infection, Hepatitis B & C, Poliomyelitis, HIV-AIDS, Malaria, Dengue, Diarrhea, Cholera, Dysentery, Measles, Meningitis, Tuberculosis and Goiter. Pakistan is one out of two countries where the polio endemic exists. The prevalence of tuberculosis is 270 per 100,000, malaria and HIV is 12.8 per 1000 and 0.2 per 1000 respectively.
Non-communicable diseases such as Cardiovascular Problems, Diabetes, Cancer, Obesity, Malnutrition, and Coronary Heart Disease share 20.5% of the burden of total diseases and 2.5% of the population is physically disabled.
